17 – Bound to the World

Or, The Synchromysticism Hoax.

The following is a slightly edited transcript of my YouTube video: ‘Bound to the world.

These are a follow up to my video: ‘The Third Layer of Programming.‘ This has an accompanying transcript which contains some extra commentary: ‘The Third Layer of Programming

“Remain seated as little as possible, put no trust in any thought that is not born in the open whilst moving freely about— nor when the muscles are not in festive mood.  All prejudices originate in the intestines. A sedentary life as I have already said elsewhere— is the real sin against the holy spirit.”

Ecce Homo, by Friedrich Nietzsche

Bound to the World or The Synchromysticism Hoax

Caveat – What I am presenting in this video may well not be true for all synchromystics, but I think it may be the end point for most who rely upon mass media.

“The art of realizing meaningful coincidence in the seemingly mundane with mystical or esoteric significance.”

Jake Kotze  quoted from the article https://realitysandwich.com/1377/the_cryptic_cosmology_synchromysticism/

If this statement is taken alone then perhaps there is nothing to worry about in synchromysticism. If the pattern created by the tea leaves in the bottom of your cup reminds you of something, then perhaps this is revealing to you something about your subconscious. If you approach these things with your sword of logic and shield of scepticism, remembering that these things are only personal, then there is probably no harm. There is little difference in this then the fact that one’s interpretation of a piece of art is personal and may be different from the artist’s intent.

In the Sync book, Kotze states that:

“The more we allow ourselves to notice sync, the less barriers there are and the more our depth of perception will grow, allowing us to penetrate deeper into the world — a world which starts to feel inseparable from what we consider ourselves.”

Jake Kotze, ‘Sync’, in The Sync Book,

This seems to me to be a good description of the synchromystic thought that I have come across. According to Kotze, the more we notice sync, the more the world will start to feel inseparable from what we consider ourselves. One could see this as an increasing oneness with the world or perhaps becoming bound to the world.

The question that I wish to address in this video is:

Which world is the synchromystic becoming bound to?

In the above article called ‘The Cryptic Cosmology of Synchromysticism,’ the writer suggests that Kotze’s “articles and videos usually focus on esoteric symbols or memes (possibly stemming from a collective unconscious mind) reocurring throughout a wide range of sources, especially mass media.”

This quote is particularly illuminating in regards to the world in which the synchromystic is being bound to. In my experience, the wide range of sources that the synchromystic turns to includes, but is not limited by, mass media such as:

  •  Hollywood films
  • Popular music
  • World events such as 9/11
    • For which the syncs for these are received through the mass media of the old and new telescreens i.e newspapers, television, the internet.
  • Religious traditions such as:
    • The Bible
    • Gnostic fables
    • Mythology
  • Occult schools such as
    • Blavatsky’s Theosophy
    • Crowely’s School
    • Freemasonry
  • And their various numerologys.

As well as this there are personal syncs but the vast majority of these are highly influenced by the flow of syncs received from the telescreen old and new e.g. the tv and the internet, and non-electronic telescreens of newspapers, religious texts, esoteric texts and symbolism.

This is the world that the synchromystic is being bound ever more tightly to. The world-theatre about which he understands little of the intent behind. He may claim that the results so far have been only beneficial, but in this he reminds me of the turkey who infers in early December that the farmer must really have his best interests at heart, as he keeps feeding him.

The synchromystic’s attention is bound more tightly to the world-theatre than those that he sees as normies and who do not appreciate the significance contained within. They can watch a film and walk away. The synchromystic is far more susceptible to the programming contained within, despite thinking otherwise.

That which you think about all day is that which you truly love.

Perhaps the source of the syncs in mass media are not caused by Hollywood magicians but by the collective unconscious. Well then, the synchromystic is binding himself ever more tightly to the herd.

Perhaps it is caused by a select few synchromystics. Well then you are binding yourself to some people that you may have never met, and in any case, could never know their inner life. But once again the primary medium is mass media and esoteric schools, of which the synchromystic knows next to nothing in reality.

The article further claims that for, “ synchromystics such as Kotze, the causes of synchronicities are not as important as their possible meaning.” (Ibid)

The causes may not be important, but the sources should be as this is what the synchromystic is becoming increasingly bound to. Bound to the hoaxes and stories of those that they have never met.

 I see little difference between the synchromystic and the child left to find out about the world by sitting in front of the BBC. He may tell himself that one needs to return to nature, but does he? Which is the source of his thoughts: nature or the telescreen?

In focusing his attention on syncs in mass media, it is easy or the synchromysitic to lay down his sword of logic and shield of scepticism, without realising he has done so.

As the synchromystic becomes more obsessed by the inflowing syncs, he may feel like he is solving the riddle of reality. How can movies and pop songs and the fake world of the telescreen guide anyone to solve the riddle of reality? I suggest that the synchromystic is becoming more bound to the fake world which parasites on reality.

This is a fake world of storytelling. There may not even be any storytellers. Just the algorithmic product of the machine.

The body is the source of our reality and I suggest this is the reason why the synchromystic becomes tempted by a gnostic outlook on reality in which the body is viewed as evil. If we remember Nietzsche’s advice and not trust any thought that is not born in the open whilst moving freely about, then I suggest that this can be applied to not trusting any thought that is born through the telescreen. This would be a profitable synchromysticism as it would be the product of the reality of nature and one’s phenomenological perceptions.

None of the synchromystic’s insights would be possible without the fake world-theatre in which he is the regular attendee. Again I suggest that this is why for some synchromystics, reality can start to be seen as evil and the body a prison for the soul. The synchromystic is self-gaslighting. He is manipulating his own perception of reality because he has given his attention to a system divorced from reality.

The bore in the pub, who cannot help but regale the other drinkers with his tales, does it for the sake of attention. I suggest that this is the same motive for the sources of sync. The system wants you attention because without it, it does not exist.

The synchromystic murders to dissect. Just like scientific models, he takes pieces from the whole. He then weaves these pieces together and fills in the gaps with his programming. Darwinism is a fantasy based on the magicians art of allowing the audience to fill in the blanks for themselves. The worldly magicians provide the fantasy realm from which the synchromystic audience select their parts and fills in the blanks with the programming that they have received from the same source.

I doubt that the source of sync cares much about which ever story the synchromystic comes up with, just as long as the attention is there. To repeat: the system wants your attention because without it, the system does not exist.

The previously mentioned article states that “it’s common for most people who regularly experience synchronicities to become obsessed by the idea of synchronicity.”As they become obsessed by the idea of synchronicity,  synchronicity replaces reality and the self-gaslighted synchromystic falls ever deeper in love with the fake world of the storytellers, which is big brother.

None of the elaborate tales constructed by the synchromystic would exist without the telescreen, which includes occult schools, mythology, Gnostic fables, the bible, movies, and pop music. Again there is no harm in treating these like pieces of art and one can find enjoyment and even some personal significance and interesting ideas. However, any grand ideas about reality gleamed from the fake telescreen world is an illusion. Switch off the telescreen for a year and you will see that the whole thing is a charade that does not exist.

There is a reason why cults try to separate their followers from the outside world. There is a reason why the synchromystic becomes more bound to the world-theatre and its stories.

That which you attend to most earnestly is that which you truly love. Without your attention the world theatre would not exist.

Postscript – The poem “The Tables Turned,” by William Wordsword. In this poem I suggest that the meaning of the word ‘books’ may be extended to include the old and new telescreens. I am reading the poem from the telescreen so I am not opposed to such inspiration, but I am suggesting that it’s significance is far smaller than you imagine.

The Tables Turned BY WILLIAM WORDSWORTH

Up! up! my Friend, and quit your books;

Or surely you’ll grow double:

Up! up! my Friend, and clear your looks;

Why all this toil and trouble?

The sun above the mountain’s head,

A freshening lustre mellow

Through all the long green fields has spread,

His first sweet evening yellow.

Books! ’tis a dull and endless strife:

Come, hear the woodland linnet,

How sweet his music! on my life,

There’s more of wisdom in it.

And hark! how blithe the throstle sings!

He, too, is no mean preacher:

Come forth into the light of things,

Let Nature be your teacher.

She has a world of ready wealth,

Our minds and hearts to bless—

Spontaneous wisdom breathed by health,

Truth breathed by cheerfulness.

One impulse from a vernal wood

May teach you more of man,

Of moral evil and of good,

Than all the sages can.

Sweet is the lore which Nature brings;

Our meddling intellect

Mis-shapes the beauteous forms of things:—

We murder to dissect.

Enough of Science and of Art;

Close up those barren leaves;

Come forth, and bring with you a heart

That watches and receives.

  1. Excellent. How you weave the Nietzche quote in I found particularly great. And taking that quote to heart would probably nullify anything I have to say hereafter, but:

    The world theater seems to me to include “the natural world” but definitely feel that man has created further derivations with storytelling, technology, mass media, etc. I guess you would have to agree with me to even answer this question but if we did not give our attention to the “natural world” does it also cease to exist?
