This is a reading from The Gentle Art of Tramping, by Stephen Graham.
This is a wonderful little book perhaps a lot of what he writes about tramping can be thought of as an allegory for life itself. I leave this to the listener to decide.
Before the current Covid nonsense started, I was planning to arrange my life so I could work the colder half of the year, and spend the rest practising the gentle art of tramping. Setting off with just what I could carry, and wandering where ever the fates took me.
Perhaps there is still a way I can accomplish this, or perhaps I can apply the insights to my life anyway.
Please feel free to leave a comment. A little journal perhaps about whatever this reading may have evoked.
